Pink Sbagliato

The pink sbagliato, a stunning cross between a negroni and Champagne cocktail, is made with Campari, sweet vermouth, and sparkling rosé.

Sometimes making a mistake is a good thing. This is one of those times. The sbagliato cocktail is believed to have been conceived when a bartender accidentally topped a negroni with sparkling wine instead of gin. In our version, the “mistake” is further compounded by using sparkling rosé in place of traditional bubbly, resulting in an even more spectacular sbagliato than the classic in a stunning shade of pink.   • 1 ounce Campari
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • Ice
  • 3 ounces sparkling rosé wine

Directions

  • 1. In a lowball glass, combine the Campari and sweet vermouth. Add a handful of ice cubes and top with the sparkling rosé.
